Coverage

Every policy a household needs, under one roof

Quoted across the market and explained line by line — so the coverage fits the life, not the other way around.

Why Nymble

An advisor on your side of the table

  • Independent means we work for you

We hold appointments with A-rated carriers and none of them signs our paychecks. When your renewal jumps, we re-shop it — switching carriers for you is our job, not your homework.

  • Plain-English policy reviews

Every client gets a one-page coverage summary: what is covered, what is excluded, and where the gaps are. If you cannot explain your own policy back to us, we have not finished the review.

  • Claims advocacy, not a call center

When you claim, you call the advisor who wrote the policy. We open the claim, chase the adjuster, and read the settlement before you sign anything.

  • Priced for this zip code

Local rebuild costs, garage parking, commuter patterns, flood zones — we rate policies on how people actually live in Tampa, which is why our quotes survive the fine print.

What to Expect

From first call to fully covered

A calm, documented process — no jargon, no pressure, and nothing bound until you have seen the numbers side by side.

  1. Book a review

Fifteen minutes by phone, video, or in person. Bring your current declarations pages — or just your questions.

  2. We map your risk

One advisor reviews your home, autos, income, and liabilities, then marks every gap and every dollar of overlap on a one-page summary.

  3. Compare real quotes

We quote your household across our carrier panel and present the top options side by side — premium, deductibles, and exclusions in plain English.

  4. Covered, and kept covered

We bind the policies, handle the paperwork, and re-shop your renewal every year. When life changes, one call updates everything.

Outcomes

What clients actually get

Not promises — measured results from the last twelve months of reviews, renewals, and claims.

$428
average annual savings after a first-visit policy review
9 days
median claim, filed to settled, with an advisor on the phone
96%
of clients renew with us year over year
2,900+
households and businesses protected
  • The renewal that jumped 40%

A Tampa condo owner’s premium spiked at renewal. We re-shopped the same limits across eleven carriers and rebound her for less — same deductible, better water-backup coverage.

  • The flood map surprise

A buyer near the waterfront learned at closing his lender required flood coverage. We layered NFIP with a private policy the same afternoon — closing saved, gap covered.

  • The claim nobody fought

Burst pipe, two floors of damage. Our advisor opened the claim, met the adjuster on site, and the settlement covered the full scope — paid in nine days.

  • Sean was great to work with on getting car insurance for a 1984 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit for me. He spent time with me after hours and was able to not only lower rate on my daily-driver, but also get me Classic Car insurance on the Rolls (~$100/m) while other insurance agents told me I wouldn't be able to qualify with my driving record. 10/10 Also want to add that Kim has gone above and beyond to get multiple of my Rolls's insured while many other agencies told me there were no options

  • Mariah of Nymble insurance has been a pleasure to work with . She offered solid and professional advice when we were with another agency and had problems obtaining insurance after hurricane Ian damage through no fault of our own. She spends the time to make sure all your questions are answered and now we are happy to be clients!!

Fees & Transparency

How we’re paid — and what you’ll never pay

Independent agencies are paid a commission by the carrier you choose. Our advice costs you nothing extra — so here is exactly how the money works.

  • No agency fees on personal lines

Home, auto, umbrella, life — you pay the carrier’s premium and not a dollar more. Our commission is already inside it, whichever agent you use.

  • Same premium as going direct

Carriers file one rate. Buying through us costs the same as their website — you just get an advocate included.

  • Commissions disclosed on request

Ask what we earn on any policy we recommend and we will tell you, in writing. Recommendations are ranked by fit, never by commission.

  • Claims advocacy included

Claim help, renewal re-shopping, and coverage reviews are part of the service — never billed, never “premium support.”

Ways to pay

  • Monthly billing
  • Paid-in-full discounts
  • EFT & autopay
  • Escrow billing for mortgages
  • Bundling discounts
  • Mid-term switches pro-rated

Questions

Asked in every first meeting

Straight answers to the things people actually want to know before they switch agents.

Does using an independent agent cost more than buying online?

No. Carriers file one premium for each policy — it is the same price through us as through the carrier’s own website. The difference is that our commission pays for a licensed advisor who shops carriers for you, reviews your coverage every year, and works the phones when you claim.

What should I bring to a coverage review?

Your current declarations pages (the summary sheets of each policy) are ideal — a photo of them is fine. No paperwork? Bring your address, your vehicles, and 15 minutes. We can pull most of what we need and still show you where the gaps are.

Will you actually re-shop my renewal, or is that a sales line?

Every personal-lines renewal runs through our re-shop program about 45 days before it is due. If a carrier on our panel beats your current terms meaningfully, you get a call with the numbers side by side. Last year roughly one client in four moved — the rest got written confirmation they were already placed well.

Do I need flood insurance if my lender doesn’t require it?

Standard home and condo policies exclude flood — full stop. Living near the water, many of our clients carry it even outside mapped zones, because most low-lying blocks flood from rain, not just the river or bay. We will read the maps with you honestly and layer NFIP or private coverage only where it earns its premium.

What happens when I file a claim?

You call your advisor — not a national 800 number. We open the claim with the carrier, tell you what the adjuster will look for, meet them on site for major losses, and review the settlement offer with you before you accept. Advocacy is part of the service, not an upsell.

Can you handle my business and personal insurance together?

Yes, and it is usually smarter: one advisor sees the whole picture, so your umbrella actually sits over every risk, and nothing falls between the “personal” and “business” cracks. We insure many local storefronts and studios alongside their owners’ homes and autos.

What does switching agents involve? Is it disruptive?

Almost nothing on your end. Sign a broker-of-record letter or let us bind a new policy at renewal — we handle carrier notifications, cancellation of old coverage with pro-rated refunds, and your lender or escrow paperwork. Most switches take one meeting.
