How is this different from a standard primary care practice?
Three structural differences: time, panel size, and access. Our standard visit is sixty minutes rather than fifteen. Each physician cares for at most 200 households rather than the patients typical in group practice. And when you call — day or night — you reach your own physician, not a triage line. Everything else people notice about the practice follows from those three choices.
I travel frequently. Does membership still work?
