§ 02 — Service linesATL/54

Eight ways we move the needle

Every service line below runs on the same operating system: a fixed-fee diagnostic, KPIs set in week one, and a handover your team owns.

§ 03 — Operating principlesATL/54

Why companies pick Redpath — and stay

Four commitments, in writing, on every engagement letter.

  1. Operators, not observers

Every Redpath Consulting Group partner has run a P&L — plants, branch networks, finance teams. We have sat in your chair, which is why our plans survive contact with Monday morning.

  2. The diagnostic is fixed-fee

Engagements open with a 3-week diagnostic at a price agreed in writing before we start. You see the findings, the roadmap, and the business case before you commit to anything more.

  3. KPIs set in week one

We define the numbers that will prove the work — with you, in the first week — and report against them every two weeks. If the needle isn’t moving, you’ll hear it from us first.

  4. Your team keeps the keys

Every model, playbook, and dashboard is built in your systems and handed over with training. When we leave, the capability stays — dependence on us is a design failure.

§ 05 — Engagement routeATL/54

What to expect, start to handover

A fixed route with named waypoints — you always know where the engagement stands and what comes next.

  1. Working session

A free 45-minute session with a partner. Bring the problem as you see it; leave with our first read and a clear yes/no on whether we can help.

  2. Fixed-fee diagnostic

Three weeks inside your numbers, your systems, and your team. Findings, root causes, and a sequenced roadmap — at a price agreed before we start.

  3. Engagement sprint

60–120 days of execution beside your team, reported against the KPIs we set in week one. Every two weeks: what moved, what didn’t, what’s next.

  4. Handover & cadence

Playbooks, models, and dashboards transferred into your systems with training. Most clients keep a light quarterly cadence; none are locked into one.

We couldn't have asked for a better partner than Redpath to help us optimize our implementation of Pardot and Salesforce. They really took the time to understand our business and they adeptly applied that knowledge to our marketing programs. As an added bonus, they were a lot of fun to work with.

§ 09 — Rate cardATL/54

Fees, scope & how engagements price

Consulting has a reputation for meters that never stop running. Ours works differently — every number below is agreed in writing before work begins.

  • Fixed-fee diagnostic

    $9,500 flat

Three weeks, all findings and the roadmap included. Credited in full against a follow-on engagement.

  • Engagement sprints

    Fixed monthly fee

Scoped to deliverables and KPIs, never open-ended hours. The fee is the fee — overruns are our risk.

  • Fractional leadership

    From $6,800 / mo

One to three days a week of partner-level time, minimum three-month term, 30-day notice either way.

  • Payment terms

    Monthly · Net 30

Monthly invoicing with milestone-based options on longer engagements. No retainer held, no surprise line items.

The first working session is always free — and if a diagnostic finds the problem isn’t one we should solve, we say so and refer you out at no charge.

Questions owners actually ask

The real objections, answered straight. Anything else — bring it to the free session.

Ask us directly
How much does a consulting engagement cost?

The first 45-minute working session is free. A three-week diagnostic is a flat , credited in full if you continue to an engagement. Execution sprints run on a fixed monthly fee scoped to deliverables — typically – per month depending on scope — and fractional leadership starts at per month. Every price is agreed in writing before work begins.

How long does a typical engagement last?

The diagnostic takes three weeks. Most execution engagements run 60–120 days, and about nine in ten clients then keep a lighter quarterly cadence. Nothing auto-renews and nothing is open-ended — every phase has a defined end date and a defined deliverable.

We’re a 20-person company, not a Fortune 500. Are we too small?

You’re our core client. Redpath Consulting Group works with companies roughly – in revenue — big enough to have real operational complexity, small enough that a 23% EBITDA improvement changes the owner’s life. We size scope and fees to a mid-market P&L.

Which industries do you work in?

Most of our engagements are in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, business services, and multi-site consumer businesses across the Minneapolis metro. We deliberately avoid industries where we’d be learning on your invoice — if that’s the case, we say so in the first session and refer you out.

Do you work on-site or remotely?

Both, weighted to the work. Diagnostics are heavily on-site — you can’t map a process from a video call — while analytics builds and reporting cadences run well remotely. In-person work is included within the Minneapolis metro at no travel charge.

How do we know the work actually paid off?

We define the KPIs that will prove the engagement — with you, in week one — and report against them every two weeks in a scoreboard your team can open anytime. If the needle isn’t moving by mid-engagement, we re-plan at our cost, not yours.

What happens to our confidential data?

A mutual NDA is signed before any document moves. Your data stays in your systems wherever possible; anything we hold is encrypted, access-logged, and deleted or returned at handover. We never reference a client by name without written permission.

What should we bring to the free working session?

Just the problem as you see it. If you want maximum value, bring last year’s P&L and your top three frustrations — but plenty of first sessions start with nothing but “something is off and I can’t name it.” A partner, not a salesperson, runs the session.

Bring us the problem you can’t name yet.

A free 45-minute working session with a partner. Worst case, you leave with a sharper read on your own business.
